Quality Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Helps support and advocates the standard to test design, procedures and may provide input to those procedures.
• Interacts with Subject Matter Expertise (SMEs) and development teams to identify and refine test requirements.
• Coordinates and/or performs testing from initiation through delivery.
• Ensures testing is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical department in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
• May create and maintain test libraries, databases and test environments.
• May certify and review test results of other analysts and testers.

Qualifications

• Min experience range: 2 - 5 Years.
• Hands-on experience on writing SQL Queries and expertise in automation script design using Selenium and Java.
• Should have worked on 1 automation tool and have good hold on one scripting language.
• Should be able to handle modules independently without much support from Test lead.
• Desirable to have knowledge on Selenium/Java automation.
• BE/ BCA/ MCA degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.

Technical Requirements:

• Functional Automation (Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Python).
• API (RestAssured, JAVA) - Ability to use Postman/SOAPUI.
• Excellent problem-solving techniques.
• Scripting experience in Java.
• Experience in source control management.
• Strong techniques of functional testing.
• Database (SQL).
