About the Role:

We are Looking for a Quality Engineer who brings a strong engineering mindset to testing and validation of customer-facing digital and marketing platforms. This role will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of MarTech systems and platforms that support campaign delivery, customer engagement, and analytics. You will work closely with Software Engineers, Data Strategy, and marketing teams to validate features and ensure seamless integrations across our marketing tech stack.

You'll test across our MarTech platforms, including LaunchDarkly (feature flags & experiments), Tealium (tag management & consent enforcement), Adobe Experience Manager (content authoring & component rendering), and Algonomy (personalization & recommendations). You'll help surface issues early—whether it's data quality gaps, targeting inconsistencies, rendering defects, or integration dependencies—and contribute to patterns that make quality scalable across teams.

This position emphasizes automation, code-driven testing, and quality built into the development lifecycle, making it well suited for engineers who enjoy working close to production systems and contributing beyond traditional QA boundaries.

Quality Engineer 1 – MarTech Job Description:

What You'll Do:

• Develop automated tests across UI, API, event level validation, and cross system integration points.
• Perform hands-on manual, exploratory, and regression testing for customer-facing experiences.
• Define test strategies for ETL and data pipelines that move and transform customer, campaign, and event data.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across source and target systems.
• Collaborate with engineers early in the development lifecycle to identify risks and improve testability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated checks and quality gates.
• Analyze failures, identify root causes, and communicate risks clearly.
• Continuously improve test frameworks, tooling, and engineering practices.

What You Bring:

• 3–6 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Strong experience with automation-first testing.
• Hands on experience with Playwright, Jest, Jasmine, and API testing for REST/GraphQL services.
• Experience with triaging tools similar to: Splunk, Firebase, Dynatrace, Full Story
• Proficiency in JavaScript for test development.
• Solid understanding of web architectures, ETL architectures, APIs, and modern front-end systems.
• Familiarity with LaunchDarkly, Tealium, AEM, and/or Algonomy (preferred).
• Experience testing complex, integrated systems.
• Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams.
