Welcome to HARALD PIHL – where metals meet people, and curiosity meets craftsmanship.
We're a family-owned company with over 110 years of history, but our mindset is anything but old-fashioned.
Here, professionalism goes hand in hand with warmth, teamwork and a healthy dose of positive energy.
We believe in being curious, solution-oriented and honest in everything we do – and we're proud of the culture we build together, across borders, roles and locations.
If you enjoy taking responsibility, making things better than they were yesterday, and being part of a company that truly cares about both results and people, you might feel right at home with us.
About The Role
We are now looking for a Quality Coordinator to join our UK operation.
This is a hands-on, coordinating role with a broad quality scope, where you will work closely with colleagues across sales, operations, production and administration.
The role is part of a small, solution-oriented team with strong collaboration and plenty of room to grow.
Your mission is to ensure that our quality processes, documentation and routines meet both internal standards and external requirements – today and moving forward.
What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include, among others:
- CoC signing for customer orders
- Contract reviews with a quality perspective
- Internal audits (AS9100 / AS9120) in collaboration with HQ
- Onboarding and follow-up of new suppliers
- Evaluation and continuous improvement of quality processes
- Supporting internal teams in quality-related questions
- Working with and maintaining quality documentation, certificates and SOPs
- Acting as a link between Quality and other departments
Over time, the role may develop further as our business and quality requirements evolve.
Who We're Looking For
Required experience & knowledge:
- Good understanding of QMS processes
- Upper secondary education or equivalent
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
- Experience working in ERP systems
- Fluent English, written and spoken (C1-2)
Nice to have:
- Previous experience within Quality
- Education in Quality or equivalent
- Experience working with Monitor ERP
- Knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100 or AS9120
- Swedish language skills
Personal competencies
We believe how you work is just as important as what you know. For this role, we value that you are:
- Structured – you enjoy order, documentation and clear processes
- Analytical – you can identify patterns, risks and root causes
- Solution-oriented – you focus on improvement rather than obstacles
- Curious – you're eager to learn, develop and understand the bigger picture
What It's Like To Work With Us
You'll be part of a solution-oriented team where ideas are welcomed and collaboration is key.
The UK site consists of colleagues within sales, production and administration, working closely together in a supportive and pragmatic environment.
We're proud of what works well – and honest about what we're still building. That's where you come in.
