Quality Controller- Woven/Leather

We are seeking an experienced Quality Controller with a strong background in woven and leather products to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in quality assurance and control, with a proven track record of ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards. The Quality Controller will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing quality control processes to maintain high standards in our production line.

Job Description:

• Perform inspections as assigned in accordance with standards.
• Conduct all levels of woven/leather garment inspections including PP sample, size set sample, inline, and final audits independently.
• Generate inspection reports with corrective measures and share them with the factory and production team.
• Maintain effective communication with reporting manager, office staff and factory representatives.
• Closely monitor products and raise all quality-related concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A university degree or diploma in Textile, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of woven/leather garments, especially in garment treatments and washing techniques.
• 6-8 years of experience in a buying office.
• Good command of English and the local language (oral and written).
• Proficient in computer use and reporting.
• Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with high integrity; able to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel extensively
