Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Controller to join our Apparel team. In this role, you will be the guardian of product quality across the entire production lifecycle — from the earliest sampling stage right through to final packed goods. You will work closely with factory teams, set the quality benchmark, and ensure every garment that leaves the floor meets our standards.

What you will do

Quality standards & training

  • Establish, implement, and enforce factory quality standards aligned with the company's quality norms.
  • Monitor product quality at every stage of the production process.
  • Train factory QC personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, and quality tools.

Pre-production

  • Actively participate in product development and the sampling stage, reviewing quality aspects before samples are submitted for design and FIT approval.
  • Attend pre-production meetings and proactively identify and communicate areas of concern to the factory team.
  • Ensure all quality observations from pre-production discussions are acknowledged and actioned by the factory.

Production

  • Conduct in-line and end-of-line inspections on the sewing floor to catch and address quality issues in real time.
  • Perform final inspections in the finishing department for packed goods before dispatch.
  • Carry out quality audits throughout the manufacturing process to ensure outward garments meet the required quality standard.

What we are looking for

  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and the ability to analyse samples critically.
  • Sound understanding of the garment development cycle from concept to production.
  • Hands-on experience in production environments with a clear understanding of production workflows.
  • Proficiency in AQL methodology with demonstrated experience conducting both inline and endline / final inspections.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and stay composed under production pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office — Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
