Job Summary:
We are hiring a QC Engineer (Civil/MEP) responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality control across all construction and MEP activities. This includes inspections, documentation, and compliance with technical standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
For Civil QC:
- Inspect civil works like RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing.
- Verify rebar placement, concrete quality, and curing methods.
- Monitor third-party testing and material approvals.
- Maintain IRs, MIRs, and NCR documentation.
For MEP QC:
- Inspect HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and firefighting installations.
- Supervise testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Verify installation standards (cabling, insulation, earthing, routing).
- Check material compliance with approved makes/specs.
Common Duties:
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors for QA approvals.
- Maintain checklists, site logs, and QA/QC documentation.
- Raise NCRs, follow up on CAPA, and assist with audits.
- Educate site teams on best QA practices and standards.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of IS codes, NBC, and construction & MEP standards.
- Familiarity with QA tools like IR, MIR, RFI, NCR, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Site-level quality checks and lab/field testing knowledge.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
