Role Description The Quality Control Officer is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished ink products in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Daily activities include conducting laboratory tests, maintaining accurate records, preparing test reports, and assisting in the investigation and resolution of quality issues. The Quality Control Officer will collaborate with production and R&D teams to implement corrective actions, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure that all products meet performance, safety, and environmental specifications. The role also involves calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment, following standard operating procedures, and supporting internal audits and certifications.

Qualifications
- Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, with experience in implementing and monitoring quality standards in manufacturing or chemical processing environments.
- Robust Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, identifying trends, and supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Proficient Laboratory Skills, including handling testing equipment, following SOPs, and maintaining accurate documentation of test results.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with production, R&D, and management teams, and to prepare clear reports and quality documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of ink, coatings, or chemical manufacturing processes and relevant safety and environmental regulations is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with ISO or similar quality management systems and experience with internal audits is preferred.
