Role ObjectiveThe QC Executive is responsible for ensuring that all printed materials meet client specifications, colour standards, and structural integrity requirements. You will oversee the quality lifecyclefrom incoming raw materials (paper/ink) to the final finished product, ensuring zero-defect delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Colour Management: Perform shade matching and colour density checks using pantone book to ensure consistency with approved digital proofs or physical masters.
- In-Process Inspection: Conduct regular floor audits during the printing, lamination, and die-cutting stages to identify defects like hickeys, scuffing, registration shifts, or colour variations.
- Substrate Testing: Verify the quality of incoming raw materials, including GSM (paper weight), moisture content, cobb value, and ink adhesion.
- Standard Compliance: Maintain and enforce ISO, BRC, or FSC standards as applicable to the facility.
- Post-Print Analysis: Supervise the final sorting and finishing process, ensuring accurate folding, glueing, and packing.
- Reporting & CAPA: Document non-conformity reports (NCR) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to reduce wastage and recurring technical errors.
Technical Skills & QualificationsDiploma/Degree in Printing Technology or equivalent
23 years in Flexo printing environments.
Basic knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel for data logging.
