We are a fast-moving, family-owned company focused on long-term partnerships, operational excellence, and continuous innovation in manufacturing and supply chain management.

Role Overview:

We are expanding our on-the-ground quality presence in India and are hiring a QC Engineer based in Rajkot to be embedded at our investment casting supplier in the region.

The current scope is supporting a long-term project supplying stainless steel investment castings to a customer in the water field. The parts must be fully leak-tight and pass hydrostatic leak testing - porosity and surface-breaking defects are the primary quality concerns. This is a long-term role with a growing international company. You will be the eyes and ears of our customer on the shop floor - ensuring every part shipped meets specification.

What You'll Do:

- Conduct in-process and final inspection of investment castings at our supplier's facility in Rajkot, 3–4 days per week.

- Review engineering drawings, GD&T callouts, and material specifications; verify dimensional and visual conformance.

- Perform and supervise NDT inspections (primarily DPI; MPI and RT as required) and witness hydrostatic leak testing.

- Apply visual acceptance standards for stainless steel investment castings. (MSS-SP-55, ASTM A802 / SCRATA comparators)

- Identify casting defects (porosity, shrinkage, inclusions, hot tears, misruns, mismatch) — with particular focus on surface-breaking porosity and any potential leak paths — and drive corrective action with the supplier.

- Verify material certifications, spectro reports, hardness testing, heat treatment records, and surface finish.

- Prepare clear inspection reports with photos and measurements for our team in Israel and the end customer.

- Coordinate with the supplier's QC manager, our Israel team, and the end customer when needed.

- Travel occasionally to other supplier sites across India as the project portfolio expands.

Key Requirements:

- BE or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgical Engineering.

- 3–6 years of QC experience, with at least 2 years in investment casting.

- Strong drawing reading and GD&T fluency.

- Hands-on with vernier, micrometer, height gauge, CMM, surface roughness tester, hardness tester.

- NDT certification: DPI required; MPI required for ferromagnetic grades — ASNT Level II or ISO 9712.

- Experience with hydrostatic leak testing of cast components.

- Knowledge of stainless-steel casting grades. (CF8, CF8M, and similar 304/316 derivatives) and material specifications. (ASTM A351, A743, A744)

- Working English - written reports must land cleanly with international customers.

- Willingness to travel to other supplier sites within India as required.

Preferred:

- Experience with leak-critical castings — valve bodies, pump housings, manifolds, fittings, fluid-handling components.

- Familiarity with MSS-SP-55 and ASTM A802 visual acceptance standards.

- RT (radiographic) interpretation experience.

- Prior work with export customers in water treatment, valves, pumps, or fluid handling

- ISO 9001 audit experience.

- Prior employment with a valve, pump, or fluid-handling component manufacturer.

What We Offer:

- Travel allowance for inter-state visits.

- Statutory benefits (PF, Gratuity, ESI as applicable) via our compliant payroll partner in India.

- Real ownership — you'll be the senior QC voice for this region.
