We are currently looking for experienced professionals for the position of QC Engineer / QC Inspector for a short-term project based in Kutch, Gujarat, India.
Project Details:
- Project: SAWL Carbon Steel Linepipe Manufacturing (NOC RUYA EPC09)
- Location: Kutch, Gujarat
- Duration: 15 April 2026 to 20 May 2026 (Approx. 30–35 man-days)
- Working Hours: 8 hours/day (Overtime applicable with prior approval)
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM)
- Witness inspection activities as per approved ITP
- Verify personnel qualifications (contractor/subcontractor)
- Ensure material traceability and documentation
- Monitor welding, NDT (RT/UT/MT), mechanical testing, and dimensional inspection
- Oversee final inspection and release
- Review MTCs and final documentation
- Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SAWL pipe manufacturing / pipeline inspection
- CSWIP 3.2 certification (mandatory)
- NDT Level II (RT, UT, MT) – ISO 9712 preferred
- Experience with AUT for SAWL pipe testing
- Strong knowledge of API 5L, ISO 10893, DNV standards
