ob DescripƟon: Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer

Department: Quality Control and Assurance/Manufacturing

LocaƟon: Ahmedabad - Pirana

Reports To: FuncƟon Head (Quality Control and Assurance)

Key ResponsibiliƟes:

Preferred experience would be working in either machining or industrial product

manufacturing companies

Monitoring & Observe ProducƟon Processes, to ensure they adhere to established standards

and idenƟfy potenƟal problems early on.

Develop and Implement Quality Control Systems & Procedures for inspecƟng materials,

producƟon processes, and tesƟng of finished products

InspecƟon and TesƟng of Parts & Products including dimensional checks, material analysis, and

funcƟonal tests, to verify that parts or products meet specificaƟons and r drawing

requirements

Data Analysis and IdenƟfying Issues collect and analyze data from tesƟng and inspecƟons to

idenƟfy trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.

CorrecƟve AcƟons, based on the analysis, propose and implement soluƟons to address Quality

problems and prevent recurrence.

Work with design, producƟon, and other teams to address quality issues and implement

improvements

Document Quality Control AcƟviƟes, maintain accurate records of inspecƟons, tests, and

correcƟve acƟons.

Should be versed with ISO systems & documentaƟon requirements

Good understanding of industry standards, GD&T and design standards

Well versed with use of measuring instruments

Use of MicrosoŌ Office tools & PresentaƟon

Skills and QualificaƟons:

EducaƟonal Requirements: Diploma Mechanical

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools.

Trained internal auditor for ISO system

Working knowledge of ERP system would be an added advantage

SoŌ Skills:

Good observaƟon skills.

Good communicaƟon.

AƩenƟon to detail and a learning aƫtude.

Experience:

7 to 10 Years in the same field in an engineering company.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Test Execution and Manual Testing methodologies
• Experience in creating, managing, and executing Test Cases
• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance processes and best practices
• Knowledge of Software Testing principles and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on identifying defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Relevant experience in quality control and assurance in the mechanical or manufacturing industry is a strong advantage
