Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Automation Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance test automation solutions. This role will be instrumental in driving a shift-left quality approach and embedding automation across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing
- Define and execute the organizations automation strategy, roadmap, and governance model
- Build reusable, modular, and scalable automation solutions using Selenium and Java
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to align automation with deployment workflows
- Evaluate and introduce modern tools and technologies to improve test efficiency and coverage
- Lead root cause analysis for defects and ensure continuous quality improvement
- Establish best practices, coding standards, and automation guidelines
- Mentor and upskill QA teams in automation tools and techniques
- Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, release management) to ensure quality deliverables
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and Java programming
- Proven experience in framework design (Hybrid, BDD, Data-driven frameworks)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)
- Experience in API automation (RestAssured, Postman)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
