QA Engineer Trackk (Mumbai | Full-time | In-office)
Role OverviewWe're hiring a QA Engineer who is strong in API testing and manual testing, with prior experience working on consumer-facing mobile applications. This role focuses on validating end-to-end user journeys, backend responses, system reliability, and release stability.
Responsibilities- Plan, write, and execute test cases for web + mobile apps
- Perform API testing using Postman/Swagger, validating payloads, auth flows, responses
- Conduct manual testing across functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, and integration flows
- Own QA cycles across staging & production releases
- Work closely with backend developers to debug through logs & payload traces
- Validate real-time flows like onboarding, login, user actions, notifications, payments, etc.
- Maintain test documentation and defect lifecycle on Jira
- Collaborate with product & engineering to ensure releases go live bug-free
- Perform post-release monitoring and production checks
Requirements- 36 years experience in QA testing
- Strong experience in manual testing + REST API testing (Postman required)
- Experience working on consumer-facing mobile apps (B2C)
- Familiar with database queries, logs, debugging, and payload validation
- Experience with tools like Jira, TestRail, Charles Proxy, Firebase, Swagger, SQL basics
- Ability to break down flows, catch edge cases, and think from a user perspective
- Strong communication & documentation skills
Nice to Have- Experience with fintech, payments, trading, or high-frequency apps
- Basic automation experience (not mandatory)
- Exposure to CI/CD testing workflows
- Experience testing WebSockets or real-time systems
