Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with 13 years of experience to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our applications. The candidate will be responsible for executing manual testing activities, identifying defects, and working closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business and technical requirements and convert them into detailed test scenarios
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
- Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing and regression testing
- Participate in test planning, test execution, and test reporting
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in Manual Testing
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Knowledge of different testing types: functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST APIs)
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
- Experience in UAT coordination and client interaction
- Exposure to mobile application testing
- Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Certification in QA and Automation Testing with foundational knowledge of automation tools and frameworks
