Quality Assurance Tech

Summary:

The Quality Assurance Tech role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of software through rigorous testing processes. This position requires a blend of manual and automated testing skills, with an emphasis on exploratory testing and scenario design.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing, including scenario design, exploratory testing, and testing of edge cases.
• Write mid-level code in any language, enumerate test scenarios, and engage in overall problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Required Skills:

• 3-6 years of experience in testing.
• 3 years of experience with any object-oriented programming (OOP) language or scripting language.
• Proficiency in scripting — capable of reading code, writing basic scripts, and debugging from logs/stack traces.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Coding skills in an object-oriented language (Java/Python preferred).
• Ability to independently enumerate and design test scenarios.
• Basic UI automation experience (Selenium or similar).

Preferred Skills:

• API testing experience.
• Familiarity with any test framework (JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, etc.).
