Roles & Responsibilities

• Functional Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand functional requirements.
• Automation Strategy: Identify and implement the best solutions to automate test cases using tools such as Selenium BDD Automation or other relevant automation tools.
• API Automation: Develop and execute automated tests for APIs to ensure their functionality and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the team to identify appropriate test cases and ensure comprehensive testing of applications based on the requirements.
• Requirement Discussions: Participate actively in all requirement discussions to understand and clarify the scope of testing.
• Bug-Free Deployment: Work closely with the development team to ensure that bug-free code is deployed to production environments.

Must Have Skills:

Functional Requirement Gathering: Min 6 years

Selenium BDD Automation: Min 6+ years

Cucumber: Min 4+ years

Core Java: Min 5 +Years

API automation: Min 4 years (Karate, rest assured)

Other-skills:

Automation Framework Implementation: Min 3 year

Gradle/maven: Min 1 years

Jenkins: Min 2 years

Postman: Min 3 years

Database Testing: 3 Years

Nice to have:

Mobile Automation (Appium, Calabash..etc): Min 2 years

Karate API Framework Knowledge

Experience in Splunk: Good to have
