Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our fast-growing team. You will collaborate closely with the CTO, product managers, and developers to ensure a seamless learning experience for students. The role demands expertise in manual and automated testing, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to identify root causes of defects and ensure timely fixes.
- Create and maintain test documentation to improve QA workflows.
- Conduct manual testing and build automated test suites for faster release cycles.
- Ensure usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility.
- Track and report bugs using JIRA/Trello; manage testing cycles with TestRail or similar tools.
- Contribute to QA process improvements and release management practices.
- Stay updated with QA frameworks, automation tools, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of QA experience, preferably in a product-based company.
- Proficiency with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) and bug tracking systems (JIRA, Trello).
- Hands-on knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
