Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Preciturn Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturer of Oil & Gas equipment and components, serving customers across international markets including the USA, Canada, Gulf, Europe and other regions.

Our key products include Plug Valves, Gate Valves, Tees, Crosses, Elbows, Pup Joints, Crossovers, Flanges and other Oil & Gas equipment.

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Vasai, Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out incoming inspection of raw materials, bought-out components and subcontracted items.

* Conduct in-process inspection at various stages of manufacturing, including forging, machining, heat treatment and assembly.

* Perform final inspection and pre-dispatch inspection of finished products.

* Conduct supplier/subcontractor inspections and coordinate with external vendors for quality requirements.

* Review and verify material test certificates (MTCs), inspection reports, heat treatment reports, NDT reports, dimensional reports and other quality documents.

* Ensure products are manufactured and inspected as per customer drawings, specifications, approved procedures and applicable standards.

* Coordinate with production and machining teams to identify and resolve quality issues during manufacturing.

* Raise and follow up on NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

* Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality-related issues.

* Maintain inspection records, quality documentation and traceability of materials/components.

* Ensure proper identification, marking and traceability of materials and finished products.

* Monitor calibration status of measuring and testing instruments and maintain relevant records.

* Participate in internal quality audits and support ISO/API quality system requirements.

* Assist in handling customer complaints, quality observations and inspection-related queries.

Candidate Profile

* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

* Experience in QA/QC within the engineering, Oil & Gas, forging or machining industry will be preferred.

* Good knowledge of engineering drawings, dimensional inspection and measuring instruments.

* Familiarity with MTCs, inspection documentation, NDT, heat treatment and material traceability will be an advantage.

* Knowledge of API / ASME / ASTM / NACE standards will be an added advantage.

* Good communication, documentation and coordination skills.

* Ability to work closely with production, vendors, customers and third-party inspectors.

Preferred candidates:

Candidates residing in or around Vasai–Virar, or locations along the Western Line up to Kandivali / Malad, will be preferred.

Experience

2–5 years in QA/QC or a related manufacturing environment.
