We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who can lead QA strategy, drive automation maturity, and build high-performing teams.
Role Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will own the end-to-end quality strategy for key product areas. You will lead and mentor QA teams, drive automation-first practices, and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable B2C products. This role requires strong technical depth along with proven people leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of QA/SDET engineers across multiple product pods
- Define and drive the overall QA and automation strategy
- Build and scale robust automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Java
- Establish best practices for test planning, execution, and release quality
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases
- Drive shift-left testing, CI/CD quality gates, and test automation coverage
- Monitor product quality metrics and continuously improve release confidence
- Mentor team members through code reviews, test reviews, and technical guidance
- Evaluate and implement AI-powered testing tools to improve productivity and coverage
- Ensure strong ownership of production quality and defect leakage reduction
Required Skills & Experience:
- 814 years of experience in QA/Automation, with 3+ years in team management
- Strong hands-on expertise in Automation Testing using Selenium, Java, and Playwright
- Proven experience managing QA teams in product-based, high-scale B2C environments
- Deep understanding of test architecture, automation frameworks, and quality metrics
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern testing practices
- Strong knowledge of API testing and integration testing
- Familiarity with performance, security, and accessibility testing concepts
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Good to Have:
- Exposure to AI-driven testing tools and strategies
- Experience in edtech or consumer internet products
- Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startups
