Quality Assurance Manager

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are an AI company building tools for industrial manufacturing plants — specifically for monitoring production operations and managing quality compliance. Our AI tracks OEE, flags quality deviations, generates non-conformance reports, and monitors CAPA closure. We need people who have personally managed a production line or run quality audits in a real factory setting — automotive, aerospace, FMCG, pharma manufacturing, or electronics — and can tell us from shop floor experience what the AI should be flagging and what it is getting wrong.

WORKFLOWS COVERED

• Production monitoring — OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime tracking, line balancing, production scheduling
• Quality management system (QMS) audits — ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (automotive), AS9100 (aerospace), or GMP (pharma manufacturing) depending on your industry
• Non-conformance management — NC reporting, root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive action (CAPA)
• Statistical process control (SPC) — control charts, Cpk analysis, process capability studies
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and equipment reliability management

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Share how manufacturing operations and quality compliance work in practice in a real plant environment — the production monitoring, audit processes, CAPA workflows, and day-to-day quality decisions
• Review process documentation, OEE frameworks, non-conformance reports, or audit checklists and tell us where they diverge from how these things work on the shop floor
• Help us understand quality management in context — what ISO, IATF, or GMP compliance actually requires in practice versus what the standard says on paper
• Advise on what good manufacturing operations and quality management looks like based on your direct experience in a factory or plant setting

YOU ARE THE RIGHT FIT IF

• Minimum 4 years in manufacturing operations or quality compliance — physically in a factory or plant, not just corporate quality
• Have personally managed a production line, led ISO or IATF audits, or owned a QMS implementation — not just been audited
• Know Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and 5S from applying them on the shop floor, not just certification training
• Worked in automotive (Tier 1/2 supplier), aerospace, FMCG (Unilever, ITC, HUL), pharma manufacturing, or electronics (contract manufacturing)

NICE TO HAVE

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt — ASQ or equivalent
• ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certification
• CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) — ASQ
• Pay - 2,000 – 3,000 per hour
