Location : Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Work Mode : Work from office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and evolve the enterprise-wide QA vision, strategy, and governance framework for complex, large-scale, multi-team software programs.
  • Provide strategic leadership to multiple cross-functional QA teams, including manual, automation, performance, security, and UAT teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Architect, drive, and oversee end-to-end Automation strategy, including framework selection, implementation, CI/CD integration, and continuous improvement of automation coverage and stability.
  • Design, review, and approve comprehensive test strategies and quality plans for mission-critical, distributed, or high-availability systems.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, product owners, architects, and engineering heads to refine requirements, influence technical decisions, and establish quality standards across the organization.
  • Establish and enforce QA processes, coding standards, automation best practices, and quality metrics aligned with industry benchmarks.
  • Analyze test results and production issues, driving root-cause analysis, trend identification, and process improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Lead risk assessments, define mitigation strategies, and ensure rigorous adherence to entry/exit criteria across SDLC and release cycles.
  • Manage resource forecasting, budgeting, vendor coordination, and capacity planning for large and distributed teams.
  • Prepare high-impact quality reports and dashboards for CXOs, senior stakeholders, customers, and internal leadership.
  • Continuously optimize automation coverage, stability, and execution efficiency by monitoring automation KPIs, analyzing failures, and driving framework improvements.
  • Use intelligent productivity tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to streamline testing tasks and improve documentation and team workflows.
  • Represent the companys voice and thought leadership on LinkedIn, showcasing QA excellence, brand value, and organizational culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 12 - 18 years of total experience in Software Testing, with a minimum of 5+ years in a QA/Test Manager leadership role.
  • Proven success in strategic QA planning, test architecture, and leading QA departments for large enterprise or product-based environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in defining and tracking quality metrics, KPIs, defect trends, coverage analysis, and performance indicators.
  • Strong command of risk-based testing, QA governance, compliance, and release readiness across Agile/DevOps ecosystems.
  • Extensive experience managing and scaling medium-to-large QA teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, API automation, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
  • Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-based testing, and modern software delivery models.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
