Key Responsibilities:- Define the testing approach for each project, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical complexity, and release timelines.
- Lead the design of test scenarios and review test assets prepared by the team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Drive the estimation, planning, and prioritization of testing activities across releases and sprints.
- Mentor and upskill team members, assigning tasks based on capability and ensuring consistent delivery performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, identify risks early, and influence quality-related decisions.
- Implement and improve automation strategies in collaboration with the automation team to reduce manual effort and enhance regression reliability.
- Track and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, recurring problems, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Oversee defect lifecycle management, ensuring timely triage, proper severity assignment, and clear communication between QA and development.
- Ensure the QA environment, test data, and testing tools are properly set up and maintained for smooth execution.
- Represent QA during Agile ceremonies, providing visibility into quality status, risks, and dependencies.
- Deliver clear and data-backed test reports and dashboards for leadership, highlighting readiness for release and recommending go/no-go decisions.
- Use intelligent productivity tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to streamline testing tasks and improve documentation and team workflows
- Use your personal LinkedIn profile to support company branding and represent the organization's voice as part of the role.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 815 years of experience in software testing, with at least 35 years in a Test Lead or Senior QA leadership role.
- Strong expertise in software QA methodologies, testing processes, and commonly used industry tools.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing high-quality test plans, test cases, and test strategies for enterprise-level systems.
- Practical experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of SQL, scripting, and debugging to support complex test validations.
- Experience with performance, API, or security testing is a strong plus.
- Proven leadership, communication, stakeholder collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Solid experience working in Agile environments with strong understanding of regression testing cycles.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and version control systems such as Git.
