Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end test automation strategy, framework design, and implementation
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright
- Define automation best practices, coding standards, and review automation code
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality at every stage
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure timely closure
- Mentor and guide QA engineers on automation tools and methodologies
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback
- Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, execution time, and reliability
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for modern web automation
- Experience in TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD)
- Strong understanding of automation framework design (Hybrid / POM)
- API automation experience using Rest Assured / Playwright API
- Experience with Git and version control systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with SQL and basic database testing
- Cross-browser and parallel test execution experience
