Quality Assurance_IT_SSC

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Quality Control:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing of enterprise applications, including ERP, web-based, and mobile platforms.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.

QA Process Management:

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand system requirements and define quality benchmarks.
• Support test planning and contribute to test strategy development.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, test plans, and documentation standards.

Automation & Tools:

• Create and manage automated test scripts using Selenium, UFT, or other test automation frameworks.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and integrate QA testing in DevOps workflows.

Reporting & Governance:

• Track test metrics, defect trends, and quality KPIs.
• Provide regular reports and updates to QA lead and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external standards (e.g., ISO, ITIL, GDPR if applicable).

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience: 3–6 years in IT Quality Assurance, preferably in a Shared Services or Global Delivery environment
• Skills:
• Strong experience in both manual and automated testing
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC
• Proficiency with tools like JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, etc.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall models
• Basic understanding of database queries (SQL), API testing, and web services
