Role Summary-
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented QA Interns who are passionate about software quality and eager to learn AI-assisted testing practices. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts and an interest in leveraging AI tools to improve test design, test execution, defect analysis.
As an AI-Assisted QA Intern, you will work closely with the QA, Product, and Engineering teams to validate application functionality, identify defects, and contribute to delivering high-quality software. You will also gain hands-on experience with AI-powered testing tools and modern QA practices.
Key Responsibilities-
- Understand application functionality, business workflows, and user journeys.
- Execute manual test cases for web and API applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Learn and use AI tools to assist in:
- Test case generation
- Test data creation
- Defect analysis
- Test documentation
- Assist in validating new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Support regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing activities.
- Work with the QA team to understand testing processes and quality best practices.
- Assist in executing manual test cases and report execution results under guidance.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint activities.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Maintain proper documentation of test cases, defects, and test execution reports.
Required Skills-
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or final-year students awaiting graduation).
- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts.
- Understanding of Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and API testing concepts.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira (preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn AI-assisted software testing practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Good to Have-
- Basic programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or similar AI assistants.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
