Designation – Quality Assurance Intern

Work Location – Pune / Bangalore

Work Mode – In-Office

Role Overview -

As a QA Intern, you will be part of the Quality Assurance team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products across web and mobile platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in testing methodologies, defect management, and release validation while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
  • Validate bug fixes and ensure proper closure through re-testing
  • Support UAT and release cycles
  • Assist in test data preparation and environment setup
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members
  • Maintain test documentation and execution reports

Required Skills -

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, including SDLC and STLC
  • Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA; exposure to automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright is a plus; basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Java / JavaScript)
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and potential risks in applications
  • Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) -

  • Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium / Playwright
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
