Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer to join our expanding team. As a Lead QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our technology solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the team towards scalable, reliable, and high-quality product deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical leadership.
• Developing comprehensive test strategies and plans for the entire software development lifecycle.
• Overseeing the creation of test cases, both manual and automated, for new features and changes.
• Building and maintaining testing environments, ensuring they accurately represent production setups.
• Conducting and supervising manual and automated tests and analyzing results.
• Generating detailed and informative defect reports.
• Investigating and troubleshooting customer-reported problems.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, actively participating in an Agile environment.
• Demonstrating creative problem-solving abilities across projects.
• Offering expertise and valuable insights throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensuring timely deployment of products and updates.
• Staying abreast of best practices, industry trends, and technological advancements.
• Upholding and promoting high standards of work quality within the team.
• Nurturing the professional growth and skills development of team members.
• Proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges and bottlenecks.

This Role Requires:

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in IT, particularly in a corporate environment with a focus on testing commercial applications.
• Proven leadership experience in a QA role.
• Profound understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and expertise in working with relational databases.
• Extensive experience in testing within Linux and UNIX environments.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and working knowledge of related frameworks.
• Advanced expertise in automation testing frameworks like Selenium and Cypress.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java is highly desirable.
• Experience in testing SaaS-based cloud applications hosted on Amazon AWS.
• Proven track record in creating comprehensive test strategies ensuring scalable and pragmatic testing approaches
