INVICTUS is seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our web-based applications, with a focus on large-scale datasets, third-party system integrations, and API testing. Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases for data-driven web applications.
- Conduct integration testing across systems that rely on third-party APIs and services.
- Validate API functionality, performance, and error handling using tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.
- Write and run SQL queries to verify data accuracy, consistency, and backend workflows.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Log, track, and manage defects through structured defect management processes.
- Participate in regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles to ensure quality releases.
- Contribute to test planning, effort estimation, and process improvements within the QA function.
Required Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in software QA (manual and/or automation).
- Strong expertise in web application testing, especially with large datasets and complex workflows.
- Proven experience in integration testing involving third-party systems and APIs.
- Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or Rest Assured.
- Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, with ability to write and validate complex queries.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments.
