Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Report to Head of Quality.
- Establish, implement, and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 22307 Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), and project Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), including validation, factory acceptance, and mobility activities.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System (QMS) to enhance process effectiveness.
- Improve awareness of QMS, BCMS and QAP.
- Inspect products at incoming, in-process, outgoing, final, and acceptance-test stages-including validation, factory acceptance, and mobility - including assessment of potential risks to identify appropriate control measures.
- Develop and refine inspection methods, and define acceptance criteria
- Plan, conduct and follow through on audits including Certification Bodies, Supplier, Customer and Internal.
- Collaborate closely with Customers, Suppliers and Operations teams to ensure product manufacturing and servicing meet approved manufacturing requirements.
- Lead quality performance metrics establishment and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct material review of nonconforming products including identification and implement containments, corrections and other dispositions.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), identify and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues.
- Analyze Customer complaints, and work to resolve issues to maintain Customer satisfaction.
- Travel locally and oversea for work assignments.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirement:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering of Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or an equivalent technical field.
- 2 years hands-on experience in management of QMS within metalworking and automotive engineering with hands on physical inspections of products, wiring and acceptance tests, interaction with Customers and Suppliers.
- Proficient, implementation, maintenance, and conversion knowledge of QMS, interpretation of mechanical fabrication requirements.
- Capable of independent judgment in inspection and verification tasks.
- Strong command of English, both oral and written, for Customer correspondence and report writing.
- Qualified QMS Internal Auditor.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively in a team environment and troubleshoot manufacturing quality issues on the ground from day one.
PreferredCompetencies:
- Clear understanding of engineering risk assessment principles and methods.
- Knowledge of implementation and maintenance of ISO22301.
- Class 3 diving licence.
