Quality Assurance Engineer

The candidate that will succeed in this position will be able to create all the testing and automation frameworks as required for their projects. Thus, the candidate may have to work on multiple projects once, also working to improve the company's best practices from a testing a standpoint.

Role : QA Engineer

Experience : 6+ Years

Location : Chennai (WFO)

Employement : Full Time

Responsibilities

1. Work along with BA and QA team members to understand business requirements.

2. Creation and execution of test plans and test cases based on requirements and design specifications.

3. Raising technical, security, delivery, and performance risks.

4. Be part of and help promote our DevOps culture.

5. Identify and implement continuous improvements to the Test development practice.

6. Gain understanding of the existing processing architecture.

7. Improve and design frameworks related to automation with newer standards.

Qualifications

1. 6 + years of experience as a QA/SDET.

2. Well versed with Agile/scrum terminology

3. Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and test summary reports,

4. Knowledge and understanding of test management tools like Zephyr, ALM, x-ray

5. Postman and Soap UI experience testing and automating API's.

6. Good understanding of test data preparation/mocking test data.

7. Understanding of frameworks related to automation based on application.

8. Good communication skills verbal/written, team player.
