QA Automation Engineer — Full-Stack Testing (UI + API + Performance)

2-4 Yrs | Bengaluru(Onsite) | Candidates strong in DSA are preferred

About the Role

We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who goes beyond UI testing — someone who can validate complex business workflows end-to-end across frontend, backend, and database layers. You'll own manual + automated testing, integrate tests into CI/CD, run performance benchmarks, and be the last line of defense before release.

What You'll Do

• Test complex, multi-step business workflows — not just isolated features
• Build and maintain automation suites using Selenium/Playwright across UI and backend services
• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Run performance/load testing using JMeter
• Perform API testing using Postman (functional + regression)
• Validate data integrity using SQL queries
• Write clear bug reports, PRD gap notes, and release sign-off documentation
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering during regression cycles and releases

Must-Haves

• Strong manual testing fundamentals on complex business workflows
• Hands-on automation experience (Selenium/Playwright or similar)
• Automation across UI and backend services (not UI-only)
• Hands-on CI/CD experience, particularly Jenkins
• Hands-on performance testing experience (JMeter)
• API testing experience (Postman or similar)
• Working SQL knowledge for data validation
• Strong written communication — test cases, bug reports, sign-offs

Good to Have

• Cypress or other modern automation frameworks
• Dashboard/data validation exposure
• Retail, POS, e-commerce, inventory, payments, or OMS domain background
• Experience using AI tools for QA/automation/productivity
