Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive QA Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in test automation using Playwright, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans based on business requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Test and validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects until resolution.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, testing standards, and quality processes.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback to improve product quality from the early stages of development.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation frameworks, and QA processes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in AI technologies and leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Experience in creating and maintaining detailed test cases, test scenarios, and feature documentation.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing methodologies.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes.
• Good knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and business domains.

Good to Have

• Experience in mobile application testing and automation (Android/iOS)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
