Job Description
Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for firm products. Develops, modifies and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition and processing.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for continuously improving the quality of the Availity's product line by
preventing, quickly detecting, and validating product and process defects, to deliver market and customer driven business results. You will evaluate the test results, prepare change requests, and generate measures to assess the product quality. In this role you will work with an integrated team of developers, product managers, product owners, and system analysts for test planning, test automation and execution, and product validation.
Job Profile
We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer with manual testing and automation skill to drive automation initiatives and develop robust automated tests using
Selenium and
Cucumber in a BDD environment. You will collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality releases and efficient testing cycles.
Responsibilities.
- Build automation frameworks from scratch and enhance existing ones.
- Author Gherkin feature files and maintain step definitions.
- Execute automated test suites and maintain test stability.
- Participate in grooming sessions and contribute to acceptance criteria.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of functional, regression, and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and improve test resilience.
- Work closely with Dev teams to run automation in distributed environments.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years in software testing with at least 2years in automation.
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD frameworks.
- Good Java coding background.
- Experience with CI/CD environments and Git workflows.
- Knowledge of testing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with Docker, AWS/Azure (good to have).
- Strong analytical mindset and leadership ability
