Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications and AI-powered products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues, build automated test coverage, and deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business and functional requirements to understand testing needs.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform manual testing of web applications, APIs, and AI-based features.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing (manual and automated).
• Identify, document, track, and verify bugs using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and validate fixes.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
• Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman, and build automated API test suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release testing.
• Suggest improvements to testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in QA, with hands-on exposure to both manual and automation testing.
• Practical experience with at least one automation framework (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
• Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript for writing test scripts.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle.
• Experience in writing test cases and executing test plans.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing AI/LLM-based applications.
• Experience setting up automation frameworks from scratch.
• Exposure to performance or load testing tools (JMeter, k6).
• Relevant QA/automation certifications.
