Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site, immediate joining role for a Quality Assurance Engineer based in Hyderabad. The Quality Assurance Engineer will oversee the development/planning and execution of quality assurance strategies to verify the quality of products or services, perform manual verification of products, document and report results and defects of testing, maintain high-quality operations through thorough quality assurance processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any quality concerns efficiently.

What You'll Do:

·      Oversee inspections, testing, and audits to identify and address defects, deviations, or inconsistencies. Also implement and monitor preventative measures to minimize future issues.

·      Collaborate with various departments like production and engineering to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle.

·      Ensure incoming materials, in-process products, finished goods, and components meet specified quality standards and specifications.

·      Audit processes, identifying areas for improvement, collaborate with cross-functionally, and provide leadership on quality-related initiatives.

·      Ensuring our products not only meet standards but that the systems behind them are solid too

·      Ensure quality data and findings are accurately documented using appropriate tools and systems, ensuring traceability and accountability.

·      Review, refine and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), Process flow diagrams, FMEA, Quality checklist, and Inspection reports.

·      Support periodic audits and client visits, showcasing product quality and process discipline.

What We're Looking For:

• 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Process Auditing within a Sheet Metal Fabrication processes and welding.
• A keen eye for identifying and resolving quality issues, with a focus on preventing future occurrences.
• Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high-quality standards

• Strong expertise in Quality Assurance and Manual Testing.
• Experience in strategy development, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Proficient in leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration where quality becomes a shared responsibility.
• Hands-on experience with quality methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proficient with Technical drawing, GD&T, visual defect identification, dimensional, and functional inspections.
• Proficient in English and Hindi.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Comfortable working full-time, on-site at a factory location in Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Nice to Have:

• Certifications like Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, ISO Auditor, or related credentials are advantageous.
• Experience with Cosmetic welding.
• Experience with Powder coating processes and techniques.
• Automation of metal bending, punching and welding processes.
