Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong testing fundamentals, hands-on experience in API and performance testing, and exposure to modern automation frameworks such as Playwright. The candidate should be capable of analyzing application logs, identifying issues, and ensuring high-quality software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web-based applications.
- Perform comprehensive Manual Testing to validate application functionality and user experience.
- Develop and maintain Automation Test Scripts using Playwright.
- Conduct API Testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
- Execute Performance Testing and analyze application behavior under load.
- Monitor, read, and analyze application and server logs to identify defects and troubleshoot issues.
- Track, document, and manage defects through their complete lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Work with bug tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Support infrastructure validation and environment verification activities when required.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of SQL and Database concepts.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing.
- Experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Practical knowledge of Playwright Automation Framework.
- Experience in Performance Testing.
- Ability to read, understand, and analyze application logs.
- Good understanding of the Bug Lifecycle and defect management processes.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with TOSCA and Selenium.
- Exposure to Infrastructure Validation activities.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation best practices.
