Job Title: QA Engineer
Experience required: 34 years of QA experience, with at least 1 year in the eCommerce domain
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Mode: In-Office (10 AM to 7 PM)
Location: Centrum Plaza, Sector 53, Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated).
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and cross-browser testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA ,Clickup or similar.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.
- Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Ensure test coverage for eCommerce flows like checkout, cart, product listings, payments, etc.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
- Participate in code reviews and QA process improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest QA tools, trends, and best practices.
Required Skills:- 34 years of QA experience, with at least 1 year in the eCommerce domain.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and testing best practices.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and performance tools like JMeter.
- Experience with API testing tools including Postman, REST-assured, and Swagger.
- Familiarity with security testing concepts and tools such as:
- Burp Suite (intercepting requests, vulnerability detection)
- OWASP ZAP (basic web application security scanning)
- Nikto or Acunetix (basic vulnerability scanning)
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and common web security risks.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, or similar.
- Working knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Basic knowledge of SQL / MySQL and database validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
