Hiring: Senior QE Engineer / Lead SDET – Retail Banking
Location: [Banaglore]
Experience: 4–10 Years
Domain: Retail Banking / BFSI
Role Type: Individual Contributor
We are looking for an experienced Senior QE Engineer / Lead SDET with strong hands-on expertise in Mobile, Web, and API testing within the Retail Banking/BFSI domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive day-to-day QE activities, test planning, execution, and quality initiatives.
- Own testing across Mobile Apps, Web applications, and APIs.
- Develop and execute functional/manual and automation testing.
- Create test strategies, test plans, estimates, and review test artifacts.
- Drive Defect Triage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Build actionable QE metrics, JIRA dashboards, and management reports.
- Troubleshoot QE/environment issues and analyze GCP transaction & interface logs.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote testing best practices.
- Contribute to automation, CI/CD, SDET frameworks, and TDD practices.
- Explore adoption of AI tools and practices in QE, including conversational banking use cases.
Mandatory Skills
Strong BFSI / Retail Banking experience
Currently working as Senior QA / Senior QE / QE Lead / Lead SDET
Hands-on Manual + Automation Testing
Mobile + Web + API Testing
Selenium with Java/Python
Postman / REST API Testing
Git & CI/CD pipelines
SDET frameworks / TDD
JIRA, Confluence, Scrum/Agile
SAFe Agile environment
Test Strategy, Test Planning & Estimation
Defect Triage & Quality Metrics
GCP logs – transaction/interface log analysis
Good to Have
- Katalon / EggPlant / Mobile Automation tools
- Zephyr / Rational Quality Manager
- UPI, Cards, Payments, Wallets, Deposits, Loans, Investments
- Digital / Net Banking
- Conversational Banking / AI in QE
- Microsoft Copilot or other AI-assisted QE tools

A hands-on QE/SDET professional who can independently own testing activities, drive quality improvements, work closely with stakeholders, and contribute technically to automation and QE initiatives.
