Job Role - QA Manual Engineer (Marketing Cloud)
Job Description
- Develop,maintain and execute detailed manual test cases and test plans based on requirements and user stories particularly for Marketing Cloud data.
- Perform functional regression integration UI and exploratory testing of software applications.
- Identify document and report defects in the issue tracking system collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on functional requirements product designs schedules or potential problems including those related to Marketing Cloud interactions.
- Work closely with the QA automation team to identify test cases for automation and provide manual testing support where necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Provide feedback on usability and advocate for the end-user experience.
- Document and provide clear reports on testing activities and project quality status.
- Follow the established QA Best Practices.
- Create positive and negative test cases following the provided requirements.
- Set correctly the priority root cause and assignee for all reported issues, updating the issue when new relevant information is received.
- Identify missing information and request clarification.
- Use internal collaborative tools including AllAi to gather and learn information about the tools, technologies and testing methods necessary for everyday work.
- Help less experienced QA team members fostering a culture of quality and attention to detail.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on manual testing of software applications, including those integrated with Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in creating and executing detailed manual test cases and test plans, specifically for Marketing Cloud functionalities.
- Familiarity with software development and QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Proficiency in documenting and troubleshooting errors.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
