About the Role
We are looking for an experienced QA Manual Tester with Real time automation experience on Appium using Java to test mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web applications.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend automation test scripts using Java Or Appium.
- Design, write, and execute detailed test cases.
- Conduct manual testing across Android, iOS, and web platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, risk-based, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects & bugs, working closely with developers and Product team for resolution.
- Participate in the end-to-end SDLC and STLC processes for new products.
- Review and maintain test artifacts (test cases, test data, test reports).
- Perform API testing using Postman, Charles Proxy.
- Collaborate in CI/CD environments with Git and Jenkins.
- Ensure proper test case prioritization for efficient execution.
- Support event monitoring validation using Amplitude.
- Work with test management tools such as Jira for planning and defect tracking.
Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 34 years of proven experience in manual testing for mobile (Android & iOS) and web applications.
- Strong attention to detail and structured testing approach.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Appium + Java (advantage for automation)
- API testing: Postman, Charles Proxy
- Event monitoring: Amplitude
- Test management: Jira
- Familiarity with test design techniques and different testing types (risk-based, ad hoc, exploratory).
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines with Git and Jenkins.
- Strong skills in test case prioritization and execution planning.
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
