Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Engineer located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for executing tests, developing and reviewing test cases, and conducting both manual and software testing. The role ensures the quality and functionality of software delivered, collaborating closely with development teams to achieve high standards in quality and performance.

What will you do

• Own feature quality end-to-end: Understand requirements, write test cases, execute tests, and sign off on releases
• Document everything: Maintain clear, comprehensive test case documentation that the team can trust
• Ask questions early: Clarify requirements before testing starts, not during
• Work closely with developers: Partner with engineers (not just throw tickets over the wall) to understand implementation and edge cases
• Track and report: Document bugs with clear reproduction steps, severity, and context.
• Grow into automation: Learn and implement automated tests (Playwright, Selenium, or similar) for critical user flows over time
• Uphold standards: Ensure releases meet quality bars for both functionality and user experience

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

• 2+ years of QA/testing experience in web applications
• Strong structured approach — you write test cases before you test, not after
• Excellent communication — you ask questions early and document clearly
• Understanding of API testing (Postman or similar)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
• Attention to detail — you notice the edge cases others miss

Nice-to-haves (automation as a plus):

• Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
• Basic scripting in JavaScript, Python, or similar
• CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android)
• Understanding of insurance, healthcare, or wellness domains
