Job Summary
Ensure compliance with quality system regulations and ISO standards while managing quality assurance processes to maintain operational efficiency and prevent nonconformities in production.
Responsibilities
- Ensure company compliance with quality system regulations, ISO standards, and applicable federal requirements to maintain certification and operational integrity
- Implement and maintain ISO standards across all organizational levels to uphold quality management system effectiveness
- Assess and control potential adverse impacts from production area changes to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Conduct regular Quality Management System (QMS) briefings to raise employee awareness and promote adherence to quality standards
- Support environmental compliance by managing Environmental Declarations and RoHS document control to meet regulatory requirements
- Monitor program performance after implementation to identify and prevent recurrence of operational issues, ensuring continuous process efficiency
- Review in-process quality failures, determine disposition of nonconforming materials, and coordinate with customers and suppliers to resolve nonconformities
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions Reports (CPAR) to resolve quality assurance issues and drive continuous improvement
- Determine critical inspection points for new projects based on customer drawings and product specifications to ensure product quality and compliance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with 8D and 5W problem-solving methodologies
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively serve internal and external customers
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Quality Assurance and ISO systems
