Position: QA Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 4+ years

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team, with expertise in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Cucumber framework, and Playwright automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and executing both positive and negative test cases before the development starts, performing comprehensive end-to-end testing, and ensuring the quality and performance of applications from UAT to production environments. You will work closely with development and product teams to create reliable and efficient test automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright in combination with the Python programming language.
• BDD and Cucumber: Design and implement BDD test cases with Cucumber, ensuring proper feature definition, step implementation, and execution.
• Test Case Development: Build and execute positive and negative test cases based on the defined requirements, ensuring thorough test coverage.
• End-to-End Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing across environments (from UAT to production), ensuring the application performs as expected in each stage.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and ensure that test automation aligns with project goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve the test framework and processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of automation tests.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with development teams for timely resolution.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in QA automation and testing.
