Job Description

Exposit is helping build out the team for a fast-growing, Canada-based software company — and we're looking for a QA Engineer who wants real ownership, not just a ticket queue.This is a fully remote role working directly with the founder and engineering team on client-facing products. You'll own quality end-to-end: from writing test plans before a feature ships, to manual/exploratory/regression testing, to building automated suites.What you'll do:Write & execute test plans and test cases for new features
Manual, exploratory, and regression testing across web apps
Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, integration)
Test REST/GraphQL APIs directly — request/response validation, edge cases, auth flows
Log, triage, and track defects with clear repro steps
Own release sign-off — you decide, with data, if a build is client-ready
What we're looking for:2+ years hands-on QA (manual + automated)
Working knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Comfort with Postman and reading JS/TS codebases (MERN stack)
Experience with Jira, Linear, or similar
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Clear written English, strong async/remote work discipline
Nice to have: AI/LLM feature testing, k6/JMeter load testing exposure, ISTQB certification, prior work with North American clients.Important: This role supports a Canada-based team — candidates must be comfortable with evening-to-night (IST) working hours to overlap with Canadian business hours.Why join: Fully remote • direct access to the founder • real influence over how the product is built and shipped • meaningful client work, not maintenance backlog.
