Job Summary

Execute comprehensive manual and automated testing for webOS TV platforms, applications, and system services.Validate broadcast certification requirements across global digital TV standards and operator specifications.Perform pre-certification testing for CI+, HbbTV, and regional broadcast operators.Test and validate AI-powered features including voice recognition, content recommendations, and personalization.Ensure product quality, performance, compatibility, and seamless user experience across multiple TV models and regions.Collaborate with development, automation, and product teams to deliver high-quality smart TV solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases for webOS TV features, applications, and firmware.
• Perform broadcast pre-certification testing for DVB-C/C2, DVB-T/T2, DVB-S/S2, and ATSC standards.
• Conduct CI+ pre-certification testing, including execution and analysis of CI+ certification test suites.
• Perform HbbTV pre-certification using Ligada-approved HbbTV test suites.
• Validate Digital TV functionalities across ATSC, DVB, ISDB, and regional broadcast standards.
• Test AI-driven features such as voice recognition, content recommendations, personalization, and intelligent behavior.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, interoperability, and non-functional testing.
• Validate compatibility across multiple TV models, firmware versions, and geographic regions.
• Perform UI/UX, localization, usability, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using JIRA or equivalent tools.
• Verify bug fixes and perform retesting to ensure issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and automation teams during the software lifecycle.
• Support continuous quality improvements and certification readiness.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in webOS TV testing and Smart TV quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of broadcast standards including DVB, ATSC, and ISDB.
• Hands-on experience in CI+ and HbbTV pre-certification testing.
• Experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Strong understanding of AI-powered Smart TV features and validation methodologies.
• Proficiency in defect management tools such as JIRA.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
