About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Engineer / Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, improve testing processes, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role requires strong expertise in automation testing, API testing, bug tracking, and QA best practices, along with the ability to lead and mentor team members while driving quality initiatives across projects.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of tools like #Selenium, #TestNG, and #ChromeDriver for end-to-end feature testing, along with Jest, Mockito, and JUnit for unit testing.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as #Bugzilla, #Jira, etc.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like #Postman, #Apigee, and frameworks such as Mocha & Chai.
• Programming skills would be an added advantage, including coding, basic SQL knowledge for extracting data for tests, general web development skills, and web services.
• Experience with any JavaScript framework would be a major plus.
• Experience in both #Automation and #Manual testing.

Responsibilties:

• 4–5 years of experience working as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist.
• Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring the team follows industry-accepted best practices.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify bugs within the application, isolate them, and track them throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality across devices, browsers, and operating systems.
• Document test cases, record test progress, and maintain test results.
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage external contract testers.
