Role: QA Engineer (Automation70% + Manual 30%)

Experience: 5 to 7 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases
• Perform manual testing for web-based applications
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and TestNG / BDD frameworks
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects clearly and effectively
• Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman or similar
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure timely test execution and quality sign-off for releases

Must-Have Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in Manual Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium automation
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber or similar)
• Good understanding of testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC
• Experience in basic API testing
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to CI/CD tools
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA
