Role Overview

This role is ideal for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, stocking, quality control, and testing. The role involves ensuring smooth factory operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, conducting quality and temper checks, and supporting continuous improvement across logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing

Perform hardness testing and verify tempering quality of components

Conduct mechanical product tests and execute defined test cases

Identify, document, and report defects; coordinate corrective actions

Maintain quality documentation and ensure adherence to standards

Support continuous improvement in manufacturing and testing processes

Operations, Packing & Stocking

Manage the stocking of finished goods and packing materials

Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and products

Maintain accurate inventory records and proper storage practices

Improve packing and stocking processes for efficiency and accuracy

Logistics & Supply Chain Support

Coordinate with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams

Support procurement, dispatch planning, and inventory flow

Assist with ERP/MRP data entry related to operations and stock

Contribute to reporting, planning, and process optimization

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
• 5 years of experience in operations, production, QC, or QA
• Strong understanding of hardness testing and tempering processes involved in bicycle parts
• Knowledge of manual testing and quality assurance methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the bicycle or related manufacturing industry is a plus
