We're looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to work closely with Product and Engineering on a shared Jira scrum board. You'll own test strategy, execution, automation, and quality gates to ensure reliable releases across frontend, backend, data/ETL, and infrastructure work.
What You'll Do
- Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and daily standups.
- Define and execute test plans and test cases for UI, APIs, data/ETL, and integrations.
- Perform functional, regression, API, and data validation testing.
- Build and maintain automated UI/API test suites and integrate them into CI/CD.
- Validate data across environments using SQL and external reports.
- Log clear defects in Jira and maintain QA documentation.
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure stable test environments.
What You Bring
- 3+ years QA experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong web application testing (UI + API).
- Experience creating test cases from Jira stories and acceptance criteria.
- Solid SQL and data validation skills.
- Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
