Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Perform API automation testing using REST Assured.
• Develop and execute mobile application automation tests using Appium.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, report, track, and debug defects in collaboration with development teams.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure product quality.
• Analyse test results, identify automation gaps, and continuously improve testing processes.

Required Skills

• 3–8 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in REST Assured for API automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile application automation.
• Good understanding of automation framework design and maintenance.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
